The administration of the Sisters of Charity Complex in Greensburg is pleased to announce the establishment of a new workplace safety committee, The Guardians. The formation of the committee was spearheaded by Sister Jean Augustine. An effective safety committee is charged to identify solutions to problems that cause workplace accidents, illnesses, injuries and near-miss incidents. The Guardians include members of the Complex Administration and employee representatives from departments who are governed with by-laws that require training, monthly meetings, practices of facility inspection, reporting and follow up.
The Administration of the Sisters of Charity Complex acknowledge with gratitude the members of The Guardians and recognize the important efforts of this group in detecting and correcting workplace hazards. The Guardians look forward to the responsibilities and trust the cooperation of all living or working within the Complex.
