Sister Sharon L. Carpenter

On the occasion of her 25th anniversary with the Sisters of Charity of Seton Hill, Sister Sharon L. Carpenter, SC, believes that the relationships she has built in the community to be the cornerstone for her becoming the best version of herself that she can be.

“Whatever our state in life, I believe everyone needs relationships. I believe I have become my best self in the relationships I have through community. For me, religious community makes sense of life and life makes sense in religious community.”

Currently, Sister Sharon serves as a clinical social worker for Catholic Charities in the Altoona-Johnstown Diocese. She entered religious life in the Sacred Heart parish in Prescott, Arizona which is located in the Diocese of Phoenix.
