Sister Barbara Ann Boss

Sister Barbara Ann Boss, SC entered the Sisters of Charity of Seton Hill from the Church of the Resurrection in Pittsburgh.
“The values of my family and the charism of the Sisters of Charity inspired me.”
Her academic preparation includes a B.S from Seton Hill and Master’s degrees from Duquesne and Notre Dame.
Her love for children led her to spend many years in education, preschool and nursery programs. Currently, she heads Seton Center for Intergenerational Programming, developing initiatives that, in the Setonian tradition, serve the needs of clients from the age of six weeks to senior citizens. She sees her task as “breaking down barriers and building respect between generations.”
She maintains, “I am who I am today because of God’s blessing, allowing me to serve the vision of Elizabeth Seton. The people that I have served as well as those with whom I have served have enriched my life.”
