Please join the Sisters of Charity of Seton Hill for an upcoming organ dedication service held at Caritas Christi in Greensburg. Albert (Chaz) Bowers, MSM, will present the dedication of the new A.E. Sterner Digital Organ, Opus 59 with Walker Digital Technology on May 21, 2017 in the Chapel of Assumption at Caritas Christi at 1:30 p.m. The program will include a suite of improvisations on three beloved chants of the Sisters of Charity.
Chaz Bowers, MSM, is the Director of Music and Principal Organist at St. Bernard Parish in Mt. Lebanon. In addition to working at St. Bernard’s, he is the Coordinator of Sacred Music and University Organist at Seton Hill, as well as, an adjunct professor of music, teaching Organ and Organ Improvisation. Chaz was formerly the Director of Liturgical Music at the Church of the Immaculate Conception in Irwin and an Assistant Organist at the Blessed Sacrament Cathedral in Greensburg, PA. Chaz attended Duquesne University where he received a Master’s degree in Sacred Music and Seton Hill University from which he holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sacred Music. Chaz is from Elizabeth, PA.
